I, Lillie Gray, the writer and creator of Smarty-Pants, have always dreamed of doing a movie about a child character in the field of education. It also will capture the minds of many, many children and children of all ages as well as families. SmartyPants will be a motivating movie to make, and I know it will be a big box office hit! I created this character in my mind looking to draw children into reading more. I have a child and enjoy being a parent and love my daughter very, very much, and she loves me very much. I want children to know that reading is fun, and maybe one day they can picture themselves being like Smarty-Pants. This will be truly a wonderful movie to make for children and their whole families to watch. It will make our children want to learn. This is why I hope to make a movie about Smarty-Pants one day. I also feel one day it will bring families closer together and keep many children off the streets because they will want to pattern their life after Smarty-Pants’s. This is a children’s education story. I also put a little humor in the character because children like to laugh! So do I.
